Turn Your Winter Blues into Winter Do's

January 13, 2019

“A year from now you will wish you had started today.”

– Karen Lamb

Have you ever told yourself you’re going to lose weight and be in swimsuit shape in time for spring, only to be frustrated when warm weather rolls around?

It’s easy to hide behind bulky winter clothes, but as warmer weather approaches, our clothing gets lighter and we can no longer cover up. You might get frustrated that you didn’t start working out months ago. Or maybe you go to the gym but not consistently. If this is you, ask yourself: “If I keep doing what I am doing right now, will I achieve my desired results?” If you answered no, then it’s time for a change.

To get the results you want by spring…

  1. Set a deadline. This can be a powerful motivator. It forces you to prioritize and strategize. Otherwise, you might keep putting off your workouts and insisting you will start tomorrow.

  2. Hire a personal trainer. You’ll have someone to hold you accountable, encourage you, and push your limits. Working with an experienced professional highly increases your odds at succeeding.

Spring is close enough to give you a push, but still far enough away to get some serious work done in the gym. Plan now to greet spring with no regrets!

In good health,
