Beginning each day with a seated meditation is a great way to set your intentions for the day ahead, even if you only have a few minutes. Try these five simple steps to start your day off on the right foot:

  1. Sit in silence

  2. Close your eyes

  3. Breathe deeply, inhaling and exhaling through your nose

  4. Set the tone for your day

  5. Send gratitude to the universe for the blessings in your life

When you “set the mood,” you may find a better flow to your day. Try it this week and see how you feel.
